OTTAWA–A one-car accident left one man dead and another sent to the hospital this morning. According to Franklin County Sheriff’s Department, a Subaru passenger car with driver 22-year-old Danon S. Genzer of Ottawa and passenger 30-year-old Thomas J. Yohe, also from Ottawa, left the east side of Roadway of I-35 in Ottawa and struck the underside of a bridge. Genzer was transported to Overland Park Medical Regional Center and Yohe was pronounced dead at the scene. No word on Genzer’s condition.
