OTTAWA–The Old Depot Museum is hosting a travelling exhibit on the Sac and Fox Tribe of Native Americans. The exhibit focuses on one Sac and Fox legend that explains their sacred relationship to all creation. The legend tells of 12 boys who sacrifice themselves to be transformed into a sacred presence in the natural world. The exhibit focuses on this story becasue it links modern Sac and Fox people with ancient but continuing beliefs. The exhibit is on display at the Old Depot Museum through mid-November. The address is 135 W. Tecumseh Street. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 9 am to 4 pm, and Sunday 1 pm to 4 pm. Admission is $3 for adults, $1 for children, and pre-schoolers are free.
