BURLINGAME–A one vehicle accident sent someone to the hospital yesterday afternoon. The Kansas Highway Patrol says Roland William Carroll, Jr., 69 of San Diego, was headed northbound on K-31, approximately six miles north of Burlingame, when he lost control of his vehicle and drove off the west side of K-31 into a wheat field. Carroll Jr was sent to Stormont Vail Hospital, no word on his condition.
