LAWRENCE — So you think your house is cluttered? Think of it as art instead. The clutter of everyday life is the inspiration for an exhibition opening Sunday at Kansas University’s Art and Design Gallery. Kansas City artist Kati Toivanen has assembled more than 20 images color photographs in the exhibit called “Domestic Debris.” The exhibit is free and open to the public. It runs through Oct. 13. Toivanen, an art and art history professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, will talk about the exhibit during a reception the evening of Sept. 30 from 4:30 to 6:30. Hers is the first of five exhibits the rest of this year at the Art and Design Gallery.
