OTTAWA — Ottawa police Lt. Adam Weingartner said an investigation continues into the shooting of 26-year-old Adam Grace in his home in the 1100 block of West Eagle Pass Court earlier this month. Grace, a reserve deputy, told police he was wounded when he confronted an intruder who shot him during a struggle and fled. It appears to be a one-in-kind incident and that Ottawans shouldn’t be worried about a violent burglar at large in the city, he said.
