OTTAWA — Ottawa police received reports of thefts occurring over the last couple of days. Police said a burglar stole purses from two unlocked, parked vehicles Wednesday. One vehicle was parked the 600 block of South Oak and the other was parked the 800 block of South Oak. In the other report, Ottawa police said a burglar entered an apartment in the 200 block of West Third and took items Tuesday morning.
