GARNETT — Free small-business counseling sessions will be offered 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Oct. 7 to Garnett-area people interested in starting new businesses or running existing businesses at the Anderson County Extension office meeting room, 411 S. Oak, Garnett. Representatives from the Kansas Small Business Development Center at Pittsburg State University will discuss business financing and planning. Make an appointment by calling the Small Business Center at (620) 235-4920. Walk-ins will be accommodated as time permits.
