PEORIA – Two fires Sunday morning caused more than $25,000 in damage. A fire caused about $5,000 in damage to hay bales in the 3500 block of Labette Terrace west of Peoria. Another fire caused about $25,000 damage in the 3600 block of Labette Terrace to an abandoned house. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department said the fires were arson.
