OSAWATOMIE — Osawatomie teacher Maggie McKain has been outstanding elementary music teacher for northeast Kansas by the Kansas Music Teachers Association. The Osawatomie Journal reports that she has taught in Osawatomie schools for 27 years. This year, she’s teaching third- through fifth-grades, high school choir and the OHS Singers.
