WICHITA — Matthew Jones, 32, Colby, has been sentenced to 30 months in federal prison for stealing farm equipment. He also was ordered to pay more than $496,000 in restitution. Jones pleaded guilty to three counts of interstate transportation of stolen farm equipment, U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom. Jones admitted that he and Ryan Hanzlick stole a Gleanor combine from Oklahoma and a John Deere tractor and John Deere planter from Nebraska. Earlier this month, Hanzlick was sentenced to three years in federal prison.
