PLEASANT GROVE — Traffic on U.S. 59 north of Baldwin Junction was halted because of a traffic accident near Pleasant Grove. A motorist caught in the backup on the road reported that traffic had just appeared to be one-lane this afternoon. The Lawrence Journal-World is reporting officers closed all lanes of the highway because of an injury accident for at least a half hour at about 1 this afternoon.
