GARNETT — The Anderson County Review reports that the suspect in the sexual assault of an 15-year-old Ottawa girl in Wilson County may have been trolling for young women on Facebook, the Internet networking site. Although law enforcement agencies have declined to identify the suspect, Ottawa police have broadcast all-points bulletin for Charles Christopher Taylor in the case. Ottawa police say the teen got into an Allegiance Communications truck with a man at Ottawa High School and was driven to Wilson County near Fredonia Tuesday. The Wilson County Sheriff’s Department has said little about the case other than she was treated and released at a Chanute hospital and that the case remains under investigation. Using GPS technology, the company disabled the truck while it was in Anderson County, setting off a manhunt near Greeley. The man remains at large, prompting the Anderson County Sheriff’s Department and USD 365 to step up security measures at Greeley Elementary School, which was near the search site. Both the Review and KOFO have connected Taylor to a Facebook page in the name of Marty Coleman. On that page, Coleman appeared to be specifically targeting young women and had 27 women as Facebook Friends.
