WILLIAMSBURG — Former county commissioner and long-time business owner Raymond Carey died Saturday at 75. He served about four years as county commissioner and six years on the Ottawa Planning Commission and on the city’s plumbing board. Carey owned and operated Carey Mechanical and at one time was the youngest journeyman plumber in the state, starting shortly after he graduated from Ottawa High School. The funeral is Tuesday afternoon at 2 at the First United Methodist Church of Ottawa.
