OTTAWA — Thursday’s Ottawa candidates forum will truly feature several debates. Among them, Democratic State Treasurer Dennis McKinney will face his Republican challenger Ron Estes. Democratic state representative Tony Brown, of Baldwin City, will square off against Republican challenger Terri-Lois Gregory of Baldwin City. Brown represents northern Ottawa and Wellsville and northern Franklin County. Democratic Congressional candidate Cheryl Hudspeth and Libertarian Congressional candidate Robert Garrard will attend although Republican U.S. Rep. Lynn Jnkins hasn’t said if she’ll attend. County Commissioner Don Stottlemire will face his Democratic challenger Terry Johnson. The Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce Legislative Action Committee forum will be Thursday night at 7 at the county annex.
