LaCYGNE — A Prairie View graduate will come back to the school for homecoming week and he’s bringing a friend. Member of the Prairie View Class of 1974 and member the U.S. Senate Sam Brownback will talk to Prairie View High School students Friday afternoon at 2 about the roles of state and federal government. U.S. Rep. Jerry Moran will join Brownback. They’ll attend the all-school homecoming pep rally at 3. Brownback is the Republican candidate for governor. Fellow Republican Moran is seeking Brownback’s Senate seat.
