GARNETT–Consumers have given Anderson County Hospital the region’s highest raking in the centers for Medicare and Medicaid services in the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems’ most recent survey of Patients’ hospital expericences. According to the “Anderson County Review”, the data was released in September from HCACHPS, show that Anderson County Hospital tops all hospitals in the Overall rating, Doctor and Nurse Communication, Responsiveness of Staff, Communication about Medicines, and Cleanliness of Hospital questions. It ranks in the top 95 Percentile in the nation in each of these areas. The current data reflects results of patient satisfaction surveys conducted between January and December 2009. This is the second consecutive quarter in which Anderson County Hospital topped the list.
