LAWRENCE–Two area students recently travelled to Anaheim, California to attend a national conference for minority scientists. Ashley Tucker of Baldwin attends Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence. Another student, Timothy Paul Day of Paola, attends the University of Kansas in Lawrence…they were among 2600 students nationwide at the Anaheim conference.
