KANSAS CITY — One of a series of regional meetings on how state transportation dollars should be spent will be Friday in Kansas City. The Kansas Department of Transportation’s next public forum will begin Friday morning at 9:30 at the Kansas City National Guard armory at 100 S. 20th St. Information gathered at the meetings will be one of the factors that will help guide decisions about where to spend about $1.7 billion in major T-Works highway expansion and modernization projects.
The Kansas City meeting is the closest of the meetings.
