FREDONIA – Charles “Chris” Taylor has been charged in Wilson County District court with indecent liberties with a minor and contributing to the misconduct of a minor. He was charged in connection with taking an Ottawa teen from Ottawa High School to a spot near Fredonia to commit a sex crime. He was the subject of a manhunt in northern Anderson County. He was captured near Garnett. Wilson County Attorney Jill Chard said Taylor in jail in lieu of $50,000 bond. His next court hearing will be Nov. 5.
