OTTAWA — In the wake of an incident in which a computer virus caused an Ottawa Middle School teacher’s laptop to display porn, the Ottawa school board is considering a ban of personal laptops from schools. School Supt. Dean Katt says the board looked at a first draft of the new policy that bans personal laptops from schools and from the school’s Internet network. The board will continue to discuss the policy, he said.
