OTTAWA — Members of the Ottawa school board took a last look at the district’s final enrollment figures Monday night. Supt. Dean Katt says that enrollment is down by 26 students this year. However, he said because many students’ families are struggling because of the poor economy, the district qualifies for more state aid. The district will likely republish the budget at the end of the year to be able to spend the additional state aid, he said.
