MANHATTAN — Immigration continues to be a problem for the United States, and in a number of ways. While numbers vary, some reports have the numbers of both legal and illegal immigrants entering the U.S. at over one-million a year. And for the first time since the 1930s, over 10 percent of the population is foreign-born. For this Sunday morning’s Community Perspective, Kansas State cultural geography professor Jeffrey Smith will talk about the ramification of immigration. The public affairs program is 8:04 a.m. each Sunday.
