GARNETT — Elvis, or someone like him, has left the room. Anderson County High School students will perform the rolicking and rolling satirical musical “Bye Bye Birdie,” Friday night and Saturday night. The 50s-era musical is loosely based on based on the teen panic caused when Elvis Presley was drafted into the U.S. Army. Leads are Hannah Snedecor, Max Hopkins, Jason Read and Jerilyn Troyer. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students. Performances are 7 each night.
