WELLSVILLE — Today’s annual Veterans Day ceremony in Wellsville will honor Ted Kloon. Kloon, of Wellsville, received the Silver Star during the Vietnam War, said Marvin Hutchison, of the Wellsville American Legion. Kansas Rep. Tony Brown will give the Veterans Day speech during the ceremony at Wellsville High School’s Red Gymnasium at 10 a.m. today. After hearing his speech at the Wellsville Senior Center, post members decided to invite Brown for the Veterans Day ceremony, Hutchison said. After the ceremony, a luncheon will be held for veterans at the American Legion Post, he said.
