LAWRENCE–A new Discovery Channel series will feature a murder trail of a Lawrence woman. The new series, “Hardcover Mysteries”, will recall the case of Carmin Ross, who died in November of 2003. Thomas Murray, a former K-State professor, received a life sentence for the crime in 2005. Prosecutors claimed the murder happened after a custody dispute. Murray appealed his case, but the Kansas Supreme Court upheld the sentence.
