OTTAWA — A 36-year-old Quenemo man is in the Franklin County jail on suspicion of several sex crimes involving a 16-year-old girl from the Williamsburg area. Osage County deputies arrested David Wadkins, Jr., and a Franklin County deputy hauled him to the jail Saturday and booked him of suspicion of rape, aggravated sodomy and indecent liberties with a child. Undersheriff Steve Lunger said the teenager told investigators that the incidents occurred over a three-year period from 2007 through September.
