OTTAWA — The Ottawa city commissioners declared this month as National Epilepsy Awareness Month in Ottawa Wednesday morning. Three-year-old JaidenDawn Reifeiss took the proclamation from Mayor Linda Reed. JaidenDawn’s mother, Tara Reifeiss thanked the commissioners for the proclamation and said it will help her campaign to raise money and support for epilsepy work.
