CARBONDALE — A 21-year-old Carbondale man was killed early Thursday morning near Carbondale. The Osage County Sheriff’s Department said it received a report of a one-vehicle accident in the 13100 block of South Jordan Road. Spencer David Whitesell was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the accident is still under investigation, the department said.
