WASHINGTON — Three Tylenol cold products are being recalled from wholesale and retail shelves. In consultation with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, NcNeil Consumer Healthcare said the Tylenol cold multi-symptom liquid products has incorrect information on labels regarding the alcohol in the formulations. McNeil is also recalling all lots of children’s Benadryl Allergy Fastmelt Tablets, in cherry and grape flavors, and 24-count packages of Junior Strength Motrin caplets. The recall was made after the company said a review found “ insufficiencies in the development of the manufacturing process.” The company said there’s no evidence that the recalled products fail to meet quality standards, and no problems have been reported with them. McNeil said the products are safe and consumers can continue to use them. The Kansas Department of Agriculture said the recalled products were sold in the state.
