OTTAWA — The Salvation Army has collected more than $6,100 during the first week of its Red-Kettle bell-ringing campaign. Salvation Army’s Adam Lynch said that’s slightly behind last year’s pace. The drive aims to collect a record-breaking $25,000 by Christmas Eve. More volunteer bell-ringers are needed during this month, he said.
