OTTAWA — Bethlehem Village begins tonight and goes through Sunday night from 5:45 to 9 p.m. each night. There are some major changes this year, beginning with the location. For years, Bethlehem Village was north of Ottawa but this year was moved to the east side of the Ottawa Country Club, said production manager Elizabeth Rhodes. Parking is still the same — the lot at First and Hickory, with shuttles running from the lot to the Bethlehem site. The size of the cast will be doubled from last year, she said. More local churches are taking part and supplying volunteers to help re-enact Bethlehem during the time of the original Christmas story, she said.
