OSAWATOMIE–An 11-year-old wants to provide toys to the Osawatomie community. As part of the Osawatomie Community Food Pantry. Ashton Spears wants to give away toys to kids who need them. Since hearing about the food pantry giving away toys at Christmas time last year, Spears made it his mission to help. He is asking for donations of new or gently used toys for kids up to 18 years old. A donation box is located at the Family Dollar Store or toys can be taken directly to the Food Pantry. The Food Pantry will distribute the toys to people as they distribute food.
