LYNDON — A former Connecticut town administrator is now Lyndon’s new city administrator. Kim Darigan Newman started as Lyndon’s new administrator two weeks ago. She was assistant town manager at Killingly, Conn., before she came to Lyndon. While assistant manager at Killingly, she also served as temporary finance director and temporary library direction. Her husband has been working at Wolf Creek since June. The Osage County Herald-Chronicle reported that the city council already had a list of tasks before she even started. Among them a review of employee wages and benefits, especially the impact on health insurance benefits because of health care reforms. She is also reviewing the city’s overtime and comp time procedures and the city’s Web site.
