OTTAWA — It was an injury and he got it along I-35, but Nicholas Ward, 25, Wichita didn’t go to Ransom Memorial Hospital because he hit a tree. The Franklin County Sheriff’s office said Ward was admitted to the hospital for an injury he received as a result of a fight Sunday night with his brother along I-35 northeast of Ottawa. Jeffrey Ward, 21, Wichita was booked into the Franklin County jail on suspicion of battery.
