JOHN REDMOND LAKE — Coffey County authorities continued to search today for an 11-year-old boy believed to have drowned in a boating accident at John Redmond Reservoir this weekend. The bodies of Jeremy Gene Jenkins’ father and uncle were recovered after their boat capsized. However, he hasn’t been found. Franklin County Commissioner Don Stottlemire said he’s been in contact with the Franklin County Water Rescue Team which has been helping in recovery operations this week. Coffey County Sheriff Randy Rogers said Jason Allen Jenkins, 40, and Clinton Calvin Dean Yeager, 22, died when their boat capsized while duck hunting sometime before Saturday noon.
