OSAWATOMIE–It was a success for the Osawatomie Rotary Club on Saturday. The Rotary Pancake Feed served more than 450 people, that’s an 130 people increase from last year, and profitted more than $2000. The majority of that money will be added to an endownment that provides for the Archie Parks Memorial Rotary Club of Osawatomie Scholarship. On that same day, a silent auction was held to benefit the Miami County Cancer Society and Salvation Army. Even though the total raised was down from previous years, organizer Gene Morris saw it as a success.
