OTTAWA — The city of Ottawa seeks to build what is called an inclusive playground at Forest Park that would allow disabled children to use it. City management intern Casey Sharp has been pursuing a grant for the playground, which is called Fun Frontier, city manager Richard Nienstedt said. Building and installing the play area would be a major project for the park, city finance director Scott Bird said. The play area would cost about $120,000. He said in addition to a fund-raising campaign, the city is looking for grants for the project. The city is also looking for a grant to build a playground area at Kanza Park.
