GARNETT — Are you tempted to tear up that traffic ticket from the city of Garnett?
You’ll pay for the privilege. The city is increasing the price for court warrants. That means if the Garnett police come looking for you, it will cost you $100 now. The previous price for stiffing the city’s municipal court was $25. That’s on top of the normal municipal court costs of $50. The Garnett City Commission recently approved the increase in warrant fees.
