LOUISBURG–The National Association of Middle School Principals announced that Louisburg Middle School was selected as one of the Top 5 Middle Schools in the country. To qualify for the NAMSP School of the Year Award, LMS had to be nominated by a fellow member of the organization, then ranked by a two-page essay written by LMS Principal Brian Biermann and the school’s assessment test scores. Another local middle school is also in the running for School of the Year: Paola Middle School. The winner will be announced on February 17th at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Denver.
