PAOLA — On Paola’s New Year’s list – celebrating Kansas day next month. Kansas Day celebrations originated in Paola and the city plans to mark Kansas’ 150th birthday on Jan, 29. 2011 Kansas Day Expo includes activities at Cottonwood Elementary School. Jim Cosgrove, also known as Mister Stinky Feet, will perform a special Kansas Day concert at the school.
