LOUISBURG — The Louisburg Planning Commission approved a special-use permit for a new welding shop. The Louisburg Journal reported the city commission will vote on the permit Jan. 17. The action paves the way for an early opening of Floyd “Xander” Gibson’s new welding shop at 202 N. Broadway, in the former Midwest Collision building.
