OTTAWA — The East Central Kansas Area Agency on Aging is offering a series of free seminars called “Soup and Scoop” at its downtown Ottawa office beginning on Wednesday. The first “Soup and Scoop” will highlight advice from an attorney from the Kansas Legal Services about durable powers of attorney, and having someone represent you if you aren’t able to, said Phyllis Tillinghast, of the aging agency. Although the session is free, you need to register with the aging agency office by Monday afternoon.
