OLATHE– A Gardner woman and Ottawa man were injured in a three-vehicle accident Monday afternoon on I-35 in Olathe. The Kansas Highway Patrol said Frances McGee, 40, Garnett; was going east on I-35 near the Lone Elm Road when he lost control of his van on the icy road. His van hit a car-hauler truck driven by William Greenwood, 55, of Bel Aire, Md. Troopers said Greenwood’s truck then slid across all lanes of the road and hit a car driven by Candace Brashears, 27, Gardner. Brashears and her passenger, Calvin Wilson, 57, Ottawa; were taken to Olathe Medical Center. McGee and Greenwood weren’t injured.
