OTTAWA — The Kansas Highway Patrol said an icy road contributed to a minor injury accident north of Ottawa Monday afternoon. The Highway Patrol said Marie Nelson, 27, Ottawa; was driving east on Sand Creek Road and couldn’t stop at the stop sign on Old Highway 59. Her SUV slid into a car driven by ld Mitzi Holland, 24, Ottawa. Troopers said Holland drove herself to the hospital. Nelson and her two passengers weren’t injured.
