TOPEKA — Now that the legislative session is under way, Kansas Information Network’s Jeff Zehnder says that legislators aren’t the only busy people at the Statehouse. The librarians at the Kansas State Library are hopping to answer questions from the public on the free legislative hotline. The call volume gets a big boost when the session begins as people seek to learn who their legislators are and how to contact them, details on bills and other questions, said the library’s Cindy Rupe. The library takes phone calls at (800) 432-3924 – in-state calls only — and text messages. Get information at the Web site at www.kslib.info.
