OTTAWA — John Wise is the first person to file for the Ottawa City Commission. Wise is a contractor who has served as president of the Ottawa Over the Road Gang, which puts on the annual Ol’ Mary River Run car show. He filed Wednesday. Three commission slots are up for election this spring. Those seats are currently held by Rocky Fleer, Sara Humm and Blake Jorgensen. File for the city commission at the Ottawa city clerk’s office. The deadline is noon Jan. 25.
