POMONA — The Franklin County Sheriff’s office is investigating Sunday’s crash that killed a 53-year-old Pomona man north of Pomona. Mack Sachs was driving his pickup truck north in the 3800 block of Colorado Road, early Sunday morning when he lost control and his truck ran off the road, Sheriff Jeff Curry said. The truck overturned and Sachs was thrown out, Curry said. Sachs was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the only person in the truck.
