BUSH CITY — Investigators said space heaters may be the cause of a fire that destroyed a house in Bush City last week. The Anderson County Review reported that the space heaters were being used to thaw frozen pipes in the home of Mike and Dianne Cobbs.
The Cobbs and their 10-year-old son lost all their belongings. The Red Cross is helping the family. Fire departments from Westphalia and Greeley helped Bush City firefighters fight the fire.
