GARNETT — The Anderson County Historical Society will mark Kansas’ 150th birthday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Anderson County Museum and the Harris House in Garnett. There will be a chili and cheeseburger soup luncheon at the museum Saturday and special displays and guests both days. The event is part of a series of events in connection with Garnett’s 150th birthday, which is also this year.
