WILLIAMSBURG — Two men from Iowa were injured in a crash Tuesday afternoon between a truck and SUV on 1-35 in Osage County just southwest of Williamsburg. The Kansas Highway Patrol said an SUV driven by Javier Alonso Cornelio, 28, Woodburn, Ore., ran into the back of a truck driven by Max Efinger, 44, Waverly. Cornelio and a passenger weren’t injured. They were wearing seat belts. Troopers said Jose Leiva, 29, and Antonio Castillo-Ramirez, 37, were taken to Stormont Vail Medical Center in Topeka. Troopers said they weren’t wearing seat belts. Troopers said Efinger complained of possible injuries. He was wearing a seat belt.
